1. This was a good site, that gives you everything you want to know about screencasting. It's outlined well and makes information easy to find.

2. As the first, this website gives you everything you need to know about screencasting. There is also a screeencasting demo included in the website.

3. This is a website that isnt very informative, but still gives you the basics of screencasting. I wouldnt recommend using this to get information about screencasting, but its a good quick site to use.

-Using screencasting I found that it was pretty easy and simple. The give you step by step directions on how to use a certain program.

Office Alternatives

-The purpose of this blog was to give more alternatives to the ever so popular "Windows Office". This will give viewers more programs to use than the original "office" program. Each alternative is not the same so a viewer can pick which program is best suitable for them.


1. Open Office (Developed by SunMicrosystems)

- It is a software that acts and almost looks like "microsoft office" with a few dfferent features and a newer look. This software seems to have all the other office programs wraped into one.

2. Zoho Office (Developed by Zoho Corp.)

- It is a software that will enable you to have stronger web applications. This software has several usuful features like; Zoho Chat, Zoho Wiki, Zoho Mail and many other components.

3. Thinkfree (Developed by Thinkfree Inc.)

- Thinkfree provides the look and feel of all the original microsoft programs combined into one. This will give a user familarity in using this software, with a few new featutures.

4. Google Docs (Developed by Writely Team/Google Inc.)

- This allows you to create online spreadsheets, presentations, and word processors. Open documents are automatically saved to prevent loss, but there is a limit to how much a user can store on their account.



5. Lotus Symphany (Developed by IBM)

- Its a software where you can create and edit documentation. You can also create spreadsheets and other type of charts or graphs.
